Women Rising!

Women have been known to play a central role in the stability, advancement and sustainability of the world we live in. They have the strength and ability to build and develop great nations, they have the feelings of compassion to show love, kindness and empathy, and they have the passion and intellect to excel in almost any field.

To quote the well known fashion designer Coco Chanel, “A girl should be two things: who and what she wants”. A woman is not defined by the role she plays in another person’s life, or by what she does. She is defined by herself.

One figures out a definition for themselves when they move through the world.

Today, we are living in a period of change and evolution where women are consistently establishing their identity and growing significantly independent in their own sphere. The rapid pace of professional development has increased the demand for educated women in almost all fields. Things being what they are, more and more women are venturing into entrepreneurialism and looking to start their own business.

They are now changing the business scene and constantly setting noteworthy examples. For example, in India, 45% of the start-ups are run by women, of which over 50,000 are recognised by the government. There is also a growing movement among investors and venture capitals (VCs) to recognise and support women-led startups.

A self-employed woman is capable of contributing not only to her family’s finances but also towards the country’s overall development. And the historic and current role of women is indisputable, and the number of women will continue to increase in the workforce.

No matter what the role of the women, they will keep creating a positive impression on society. Being a woman can mean having a strong sense of identity, being confident, having the wisdom to be grateful for what you have while still being hungry enough for growth, being gentle while still being firm and so much more.

Women should never stop believing in their aspirations and dreams.
