A Tribute to Teachers Worldwide

Teaching is a career that is one of the most challenging and respected choices. As teachers mould and bring the best out of their students, it is an unquestionably critical ingredient to the social, cultural, and economic health of a country.

Not only young students but learners of all ages today are the leaders and the hope for the future of any country. And teachers play a crucial role by offering every child/student a rich, rewarding, and unique learning experience as they have the ability to draw out hidden talent and bring it to the surface.

In the education process, the effectiveness of the teacher is the most important component for life accomplishments. In fact, there is no such attribute of schools having this much influence on students’ achievement.

They also take on other roles in schools and their profession by working with colleagues, family members, academics, employers, and others to set bright, obtainable and expected standards for knowledge, skills, and values. They participate in day-to-day decision-making in schools, working side-by-side to set priorities and deal with organisational problems that affect students' learning.

Teaching is a profession that teaches all other professions. Since ancient times, teachers have been playing an important role in our society.

While they are also expected to build a strong moral character and provide emotional support, they also contribute in a significant and valuable manner to the overall society by inspiring us and teaching us about values throughout our lives.

People often emphasise the importance of good teachers, which pushes them to reinvent themselves and their occupations to better serve schools and students.

They understand that the essence of education is a close relationship between a knowledgeable, caring adult and a secure, motivated child. They grasp that their most important role is to get to know each student as an individual to comprehend his/her unique needs, learning style, social and cultural background, interests, and abilities.

Rather than see themselves solely as masters of subject matter such as language, history, maths, or science, teachers increasingly understand that they must also inspire a love of learning.

Many teachers reject teaching that is primarily lecture-based in favour of education that challenges students to take an active role in learning.

An educator's most important responsibility is to search out and construct meaningful educational experiences that allow students to think on their own, powerful skills to navigate through life and habits of mind and heart that meet academic standards.

The mark of an effective teacher should result in the student being able to create and implement new knowledge.
